    Technical Requirements
    • Exclusive use of a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) issued by a qualified provider accredited in Portugal (e.g., Citizen Card + reader, level 3 Digital Mobile Key, or QES certificate from an accredited provider).
    • A simple 'click to sign' on platforms such as DocuSign or Adobe Sign DOES NOT constitute a QES and DOES NOT have legal effect equivalent to a handwritten signature in this context.
    • Storage of the signed document together with the qualified timestamp (QTST) and signature metadata.
    • Periodic verification of the certificate's validity and preservation in PDF/A format (file format).

    • Signature Date/Time (with qualified timestamp)
    • Signed Document Hash (SHA-256)
    • Identification of the Trusted Service Provider (QTSP)
    • Validity of the Certificate on the date of signature
